Join us for this monthly series investigating the deeper teachings of yoga!
Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra lay the groundwork for the philosophical and psychological application of Classical Yoga. In this second session we will take a dive into the study of Sutra I:5 – I:14 to explore Patanjali’s description of the Vritti: involuntary states of mind, and the wings of Classical Yoga: Abhyasa and Vairagya.
Teachings offered by Aleta Adams and inspired by her study with her teacher Bhavani Maki and translations of the Sutra by Baba Hari Das. Bring your favorite translation of the Sutra and be prepared for optional group discussion after chanting and lecture.
