TEACHERPetit is from a small town near Sequoia National Park in central California. It was on hot granite with toes in the cool Kaweah river that began her fascination of movement and rhythm.
Petit has traveled 6 continents exploring and leading others into self-inquiry through yoga and writing. She paused to live a month at Ananda in Nevada City, following the teachings of Parmahansa Yogananda and has continued with study and workshops including Angela Farmer, Sean Corne, Baron Baptiste, Deepak Chopra, and others.
Petit is passionate about rivers, rocks, mountains, oceans and trees. Her most challenging and deepest moment of conscious will was during a rescue of climbers at 28,000′ above sea level on the north face of Mt. Everest in Tibet.
She offers insightful vinyasa flow classes which leave students grounded and empowered. She can also be found strumming her ukelele with her son, dancing, building Legos, sipping chai, and playing in dirt/water/snow.
Petit teaches All Levels Vinyasa on Mondays at 9:30AM and Tuesdays at 4:30PM.
